PVC cord for hot-welding the seams of roll vinyl flooring. Dark Grey 016T, 90 linear metre spool.
When several strips of roll flooring are laid, the seams are closed by hot-welding them with this cord: the joint is routed out, the cord is applied with a hot-air gun and then trimmed flush. The result is a continuous surface through which water cannot reach the screed.
Seam welding is not optional in commercial kitchens, changing rooms, wash-down areas or any premises cleaned with plenty of water. In a dry warehouse you can do without it, but even there a welded seam stops dirt collecting along the join.
Calculate linear metres of seam plus 10 % margin. A 90 m spool covers roughly 180 m² laid with 2 m wide rolls. Compatible with all our roll floorings, for example Silver Grey 7046 stud or Sand Beige 1019 ribbed. See the range under commercial vinyl flooring rolls.

Stud pattern in silver grey The classic studded floor — raised circles on a regular grid — in a light silver grey that keeps the space bright. The relief does two jobs: it gives grip underfoot and it disguises dust and marks between cleans, which...
Studs in dark graphite grey A studded relief — circles on a regular grid — in a deep graphite grey. It is the middle ground between Black 017 and Silver Grey 7046: dark enough that dirt does not show, grey enough that the room does not close in....
Green-grey, checker-plate relief A grey with a slight green cast — sober and neutral. It is a common shade on machinery, metal shelving and service doors, so the floor blends in with the equipment instead of standing out. It hides dust and...
